This year's 26th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine revealed on its cover on Monday that Katsuhisa Minami's The Fable: The Second Contact manga will end in five chapters, including the chapter in the 26th issue.
Minami launched the manga as a sequel to his The Fable manga in July 2021. The new manga serves as the "second part" to the overall manga franchise. Kodansha released the manga's seventh volume on May 8.

I wonder what makes the second series short lived. With the addition of new assassins organization, I thought it could last a lot longer.
