One was about a Japanese man forced to stay at a high class, very strict English language school. If he didn't learn English, (from his American instructor who had a deaf brother), he'd lose his job. The other was about a travel agent who found a hungry and fainting prince in a park and let him stay with him until the prince was called back to rule his country.
