list management

I would like to create more lists to make it easier for myself to sort manga since categories and the search options are often not all that helpful to me.
The best way to do that seems to me to create a 2nd account (and email for it) and using short comments as notes for public lists.
Is there a better way to do this? And if not, would it be even allowed to create a 2nd account or to use comments that way?

this already a feature unless you're talking about something else. click "My Lists" then at the top click "Edit Lists" and that's where it brings you to the page where you create your custom/new lists with your own descriptions, icons, and names as you want. then you just add manga to those custom lists

While that is true, I cannot add manga to multiple lists, right?
For example, I have 4 complete lists, one for my favourites (~50), the default one (~100), an extra one (~300) with the somewhat less exciting ones to reduce the number of series in the default one and a finished one (~650) holding all series that I did finish but were overall so bad/uninteresting that I don't want to ever re-read them, including many oneshots.
For myself, it would be helpful to have another list like "silly shounen fantasy" or so which would include series like Dragon Ball, Soul Eater, Fairy Tail and such to look especially for these kind of series and by using comments as notes, I could also add a series like Dr. Slump and add the note "comedy" to see that it's my idea of a "silly shounen fantasy" series, but with focus on comedy rather than action.

Your request is reasonable, and it makes sense why you would want manga on multiple lists. We will keep your request in mind for the future. Unfortunately we do not have a large team to help us develop this site, so we have to prioritize our goals. Right now, we're focused on porting the UI to a modern web development framework so that we can actively add new features again.
Thank you for your suggestion!

It is less of a suggestion and more of a question (site related does not offer a sub-forum for help or questions as far as I can see, though I am not a native english speaker and tend to overlook the obvious), but thanks, that answers my question well enough.
Though to make a suggestion related to this, how about an option for comments to be hidden, only for the user to read or if one looks into the user's lists if public? Besides my issue, this would also help users to make notes for themself, for example to easier get back to a series on hold by reading through the "notes".
One example where this could be useful are collections of stories, using the comment as a note which stories I did read already.

Over a year ago, I posted this:

"I've been a member for quite awhile and sometimes my interest in manga would vary over months to years. Yesterday, I wanted to read a certain manga and I had forgotten the title so I was going to search my Complete List. (Did remember the title eventually.) It's been maybe a year since I last logged in...I think. All my lists, but my Wish List are gone. I know there were hundreds of titles in them. I checked FAQ and cleared my cache and cookies with no results.
Please, I'd appreciate any help 😢"
PLEASE HELP ALL MY LISTS ARE GONE, CLEANED OUT, EMPTY WITHOUT A TRACE!
It would be such a pain to try and manually add hundreds of series. I'd be so grateful if anyone could look into this!
