I thought I would find it easily in the Advanced Search with tags, but no luck and it's getting me crazy that I can't remember!

It was about a couple, I think they were both yakuza but now only one is. The former yakuza is pretty calm and composed and everybody sort of sees him as inferior because of that but it's actually the other way around, since he was a great fighter and has this huge tattoo in his back.

If anyone's curious, it's a lovely story about an ex yakuza and his lover 🙂 I just read it again after many years and still loved it as the first time I read it.
