Ethnic foods strike again! Because I was just in Little Odesa this morning and visited a Georgian bakery there:

Megrelian khach'ap'uri with t'arkhuna!

(Khach'ap'uri is a cheese-filled bread, while t'arkhuna is tarragon-flavoured Georgian lemonade. )

Cheese.

Cheddar, bûcheron, feta, camembert, gouda, roquefort…

A pale cream-coloured cross between a dense pancake and moist almost scone?
And topped with a white liquid sweet cream?

Was it syrniki?
