75% Off Tokyo-Pop Manga!
Well, I've never actually bought manga before as it can be pretty expensive if you read as much as me (which you probably do).
But I guess there it is always good to try and buy some of it whenever possible since we here all love manga so much.
Well I found a pretty big sale and ordered about 10 volumes of different manga. Most volumes cost $2.49 each.
So heres the link for anyone interested in buying manga but always avoided it because they did not want to spend a lot of money.
This amazing sale will last until March 31st.

I hope this doesn't count as advertising (which will probably get this thread locked).
I am not trying to advertise bookcloseouts.com in any way, just trying to share a good deal with fellow manga lovers. Anyway if I am infringing on some rule feel free to lock this thread mods.

Oh, wow, I'll be flipping through this for quite awhile.
How are their shipping costs?
Actually I am still adding things to my cart ...LOL.
I bought the Gundam Seed Astray manga collections as I am a fan but haven't read them yet. They are sort of hard to find scanlated.
Oh, and BTW i just found out the sale ends March 31st.
Also I think the books they sell are shipped from Canada so for the U.S and Canada shipping should be pretty cheap.

Nope I really can't vouch for them but I googled them and nothing bad came up.
Edit: My order is done:
Gundam Seed Astray vol. 1-3
Gundam Seed Astray R vol.1-4
Gundam Seed X Astray vol.1-2
The shipping is about $5-6 depending on how many books you order (starts from about $4.50 though)
I will let ya know when/if I get my manga.

lol, that was my first thought when I saw 75% off tokyopop. But I didn't see any of them available T.T. I've never heard of this sight, so I'm guessing their stock isn't as expansive as more popular stores like Borders or Barnes and Noble.

Their rather limited stock is because this site (at least appears to) sell entirely "bargain book copies".
As defined by them:
Bargain Books are new, unread books that the publisher sells-off in volume to reduce excess inventory. Sometimes the publisher printed too many copies, in other cases bookstores purchased too many copies and have returned them to the publisher for credit. The books therefore have been handled a few times but are still in excellent condition.
In either case, the publisher may place a mark on the edge of the book to identify it as a Bargain Book. This ensures the book will never get returned to the publisher for credit. In most cases the mark is a small line or dot.

I succumbed. -_-
If anyone's curious, (standard) shipping and handling for 19 items was 7.15, total cost was 53.46. They tell me I saved some $150 off the list price.

Oh, YEAH!!!
They say it's the thought that counts, but then they tell you, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions......"
Will no one scanlate Takahashi Miyuki?! T_T
Yeah the stock was pretty limited but I still spend $30 and I didn't even get all of the Gundam manga they had. Not to mention that I was looking at a few other things too... I wonder if Blazin' Barrels is something like Sunabouzu...?
