This week's poll from MewMan is about your choices in mortality. Yes, there's a difference between immortality and invincibility. Or perhaps you'd prefer being a regular person? MewMan originally suggested this poll because Blade of the Immortal had just been completely scanlated.
You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related)

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Your favorite manga character appears and offers to take you into his/her world in the series, but you can never come back to the real world. Would you accept?
Choices:
Yes - votes: 7365 (63.7%)
No - votes: 4206 (36.3%)
There were 11571 total votes.
The poll ended: February 22nd 2014
It was up to your interpretation of the question of whether you'd gain the powers of the world you joined. Still, most would wanna try it out! It would kinda suck though to live as a normal person in a world filled with magic...
A just ruler amongst tyrants
Be immortal and invincible (basically live forever)
This..
Edit:
Hmmm, I wouldn‘t mind being left behind by everyone,
cause for me, everyone are replaceable, lol XD
I wonder if I‘ll change my ways of thinking when I mature more..

Be Immortal.
Can't die at all will cause a very great population issue.
certain kind of people better of killed at first sight.
if not, endless vengeance will ensue.

As someone who believes in the afterlife, I'd rather be mortal (in this life).

Immortal
Existing forever would eventually suck, but I'll be able to live as long as I'd like if I don't have to worry about old age or sickness. Besides, if I had to choose, I'd take death by trauma over the plague.

Not becoming old and gray is for me important.
Even after dead, we raise from the ashes for the sake of manga.

This.
Immortality would probably lose its appeal after awhile, but think of all the things you will witness in the meanwhile! Like just 20 years ago, who would have thought the internet would take off like that.
P.S. Getting old kinda sucks to honest, but we all do. I think having a healthy outlook about it is probably key to being happy in the "twilight" years.

i think invincibility and immortality are slightly irrational concepts.... if you look at the human or ANY biological body...its complex..... theres more other stuff (bacteria, fungus and other microbiota) in you keeping you functioning in every system of ur body AND mind let alone staying alive .
First "Be immortal (no death from natural causes, but external forces can kill)" WHAT IS "NATURAL" causes anyway..... the so called "mortal" is actually already immortal if it werent for the cell replication purity were to be held constant and not allowed to be mutated in a bad way as u age.
"Be invincible (safe from external forces, but aging, sickness, etc can kill)" this is IMPOSSIBLE... what are external and what are internal.... everything is too interrelated .... anything on the outside can and MUST cause change in the environment (your cells and the microbiota which help you function/stay live) on the "inside" ALLOWING the individual to both survive AND get sick/age/die.... if you have ANY biological process.. IT MUST interact with the surrounding
Immortality can ONLY be technically achieved if you download your brain into a computer or machine or something that doesnt degrade much even then not so much
Invincibility on the other hand... is logically impossible... unless your one of the few quirky quantum states of matter....but whats the point anyway if existence amounts to not having a thought process anymore.... Or if we're going with the no external forces thing...then there is another way... you never grow.. you never change....your body is still..and so is your mind.... there are no changes from the outside
see where i am going?

Quoting myself from the other thread.
would one ever consider being immortal in the mortal realm a "gift" knowing that it is all going to end one day? What will there be when all is gone? Would there even be a space to float around in?
Sure, the "perks" of being immortal may seem rather attractive to us, but that, IMO, is because somewhere at the back of our minds, we still expect for there to be an end.So my answer is that being immortal in a realm where everything else is subjected to death, would be a curse.

I chose to be mortal because the world is too boring. It would be hell to have to be subjected to it for eternity.

There should be a reincarnation choice.
I'd like to be able to experience several mortal lives.

Be immortal and invincible (basically live forever)~
The world is ever changing after all, so I don't think I would be bored. But if, just say, the condition didn't only applied to me but to some other people as well, I think the answer would be 'be immortal (no death from natural causes, but external forces can kill)'.

Be Immortal and Invincible
On the sole condition that I would still be able to kill myself if I couldn't handle it anymore, though.

Seriously, there's not need to think so seriously about a random question...
