Input fields for volumes/chapters read.

I suggest to replace +10/-5 buttons with either a drop-down list or an input field.
Rationale behind this suggestion is bothersomeness of having to click tens of times to set chapter count, not being able to set it fast enough (if you double click it selects text instead) and, well, the fact that it's simply stupid.

Actually you can click on the vertical edit, right before the volume/chapter links and enter manually what volume/chapter you're at.

nesfe is right; you can use the "edit" button to manually input volume and chapter values.
Though I'd just want to point out that you can only do this in your lists; you can't do this in the individual series pages.

A drop-down list would indeed be nice, but imagine trying to code that. If it's not entirely necessary, don't expect to see it for a while (if at all).

My concern is simply that series with large numbers of chapters (think Negima) would have incredibly long drop-down lists that would increase load times. Input fields are much preferred in that regard.

Drop down lists are unpleasant as a general rule.
