[Spoiler] Shank's Arm?

So as we know now, Luffy can some-what communicate with Sea Kings. And since Luffy was about to be killed by the Bandit dude, did he call the Sea King to come save him? Thus, was Shank's loss of an arm because of Luffy? As seen, if the sea king didn't come Shanks would still have arrived before Luffy drowned, and thus he would have been saved regardless, just with his arm intact, and perhaps the Bandit might have survived too, who knows?

What in the mother of ducks did you se?...
Sorry but how did you manage to connect what you saw with your story?..
No Luffy Cant controll Sea kings And no he did not take shanks arm..
The sea king was just there.. as there are fishes in the sea.. and saw luffy as food..
Shanks as a true friend protected his friend(luffy).. and lost his arm..
Shanks then used some of his "kai"(inner power)(i belive) to frighten the sea king....

But he can understand them. just curious if he somehow would have lead a Sea King there in the first place. Just a possibility.

Have you read this manga called One Piece?
Luffy was only able to tame large animals after training his haki.

I haven't used this line in a long while, but here goes:
That's stupid and you're stupid.
To expand on that point, he only acquired the ability to understand sea kings in the last 2 years, and had 0% of that ability before now.

Really? But coulda sworn he mentioned being able to hear them before the Time-Skip, cuz going into the fishman arc, i knew he could understand them.

I think you need to reread the Fishman Island arc.
Luffy cannot understand Sea Kings. He only tamed them like animals with his haki, like FormX said. If anything, only Shirahoshi can communicate with Sea Kings.

That sea king is the one that roam that region normally, Luffy didn't lure it over, it's usually there.
Luffy didn't develop the hearing until very far into the series, and even then, it's just barely able to hear.
Sea kings are more intelligent than normal fish, so they can understand speech, especially the ones Luffy fought against since those were already familiar with people.
You need to look at and understand what's being presented first in the foreground before you speculate what else could go on.
In regards to your "idea" or as others have said, hallucination, it's simply, your own misinterpretation and illusion. There's only 1 being capable of summoning sea kings without taming them first, and that's not Luffy.

wait...spoiler? How is that a spoiler? lol. The summary of the manga gives away more than a line of questioning, that also appears to be false.
(SPOILER contained in my thank you, only read if your past the first few chapters of the Manga, or episodes of the Anime)
Well thanks guys! and Sorry to those who didn't know Shanks lost his arm due to the Sea King. You can continue posting if ya want, but i think you've mentioned the most important parts, was just curious cuz i was re-watching the series, and when i got to that episode the question dawned on me. See ya around 🙂
