I’m curious who people’s favorite Yaoi/Shounen Ai authors are.

My classic favorites are probably Fuwa Shinri and Yamada Yugi.

My enduring favorites are probably Naono Bohra, Ike Reibun, Yoshinaga Fumi, Nakamura Asumiko, and Yamashita Tomoko.

And I have sort of love/hate relationships with Inariya Fusanosuke, Kinoshita Keiko, Uchida Kaoru and Nishida Higashi (though for different reasons).

Lately I’ve been really enjoying Psyche Delico, Kuraka Sui, Ogeretsu Tanaka, and of course Yoneda Kou.

What are other people’s favorites?

Yeah, I like Naono-sensei too, and some of the others you listed. But a lot of the time, I don't really pay attention to who the authors are. I read more for the tags I'm in the mood for. Sometimes, if I really like the art, I might read through a whole author, but I don't keep track for the most part. Looking at my lists, a lot of my top rated things are from some of the authors you named...

I guess my favorites are just the series, rather than by author. I can like the art of a mangaka, and hate half the stories they write, or I can like a story and not be that into the art... kinda hard to pick favorites. Naono-sensei is basically the only exception because I like pretty much all of her stories because they are ridiculous. And her art is great.
