I mean of course its the inside that counts but I think there needs to be an attraction too. So I say slim, because without the attraction all you can really be is good friends.

Also, I am 5'10" and like 150 lbs. So I really wouldn't want to date a girl who is bigger or taller than me.

Though I don't date, it seems I prefer slimmer.

Ugly/Large people be it men or women are nicer people. They will do ANYTHING to get and keep friends/romantic interests. This also applies to people with low self-esteem.

Hot/Thin people don't need to work for relationships because it comes more naturally. People are naturally attracted to them.

For my personal experience my friend used to be HUGE, like FAT. And she was SO NICE. Too nice. She let people walk over her. She lost the weight in grade 11 and became the biggest bitch ever. She stole peoples boyfriends/love interests, rubbed in her weight to everyone, and treated all her good friends like SHIET. Including me. She's the only person I've ever excommunicated from my life.

Most of the people I have hitherto liked fall in yet another category known as 'normal', 🤣 Yes, there are people who are 'thin' and those who are 'fat' but I don't 'prefer' either as they both give the impression of being unhealthy. I like the 'normal' people best - and it encompasses the widest part of spectrum from 'just a little underweight' to 'just a little overweight'. I guess these are people who don't overly care about their weight. Hence, they won't spoil the party by refusing to eat or eating up everything. 🙂

Guys would bang goats if it was acceptable, mmkay. 🤣 So your argument is moot!

And when guys say that, it's not that they dislike thin women, you know. It's just that they prefer women with more meat, and we're not talking about super huge either. Just a tiny bit. Guys happen to adore love handles. We happen to adore curves in general. Love handles => adds an extra tiny curve, well what do you know! Plus, it's soft too. Breasts are soft. Guys like breasts and a little meat. Whoa, there's a connection! 😲 Conclusion: guys like softness (of course within reasonable bounds) No one likes obese women (well, most).

Also, you just so happen to be skinny, so it's kind of rude that you take it for granted and look down on fat people. And chubby people are desired as well. Luckily, people have different likes.

Personally, I don't care. I love all women. 🤨

I heartily disagree. If I hate someone, the very thought of 'banging' them makes me barf. And I'm talking experience here. I used to like a guy who was a bishounen straight out of shoujo manga. But after a bitter experience with him, I'm not clouded by looks anymore. I'll admit his looks were one of the points that made me like him. Even now, when anyone casually mentions how hot he is, etc. it gives me goosebumps - that's how repulsive it is.

But it's been over a year since that time and I've come across quite a few so-good-looking-that-they-kill-you-with-looks. However, my attention now automatically scans a person's personality no matter what they look like. It was a bad, bad experience but it has made me wiser when it comes to dealing with people.

My point is looks don't last. And if the lookers win the battle, 'good' but not-so-pretty people win the war.

Right now, the biggest bitch I know is... the BIGGEST bitch I know. She's obese and even if she were slim, she'd be ugly. And her personality is worse. I don't think it has a lot to do with how much people weigh but how they decide to live their lives. From what I've observed, a large number of people have some or other form of low self-esteem and it doesn't always express itself as 'oh, I'm so nice to you'. Nowadays, it tends to be 'I'm miserable and I'll make you miserable, too'.

I've seen too many exceptions to believe in generalization when it comes to looks-personality combo. If I had to, I'd say that there's a certain class of people that obsessively care for how they look, and I might not be very wrong to assume that this is the group that tends to have the best looks-worst personality combo.

so it's not the inside, it's the inside AND outside that counts. That's my opinion btw, at least when considering for dating. if it's for an one night stand then who cares about the inside?

People get attracted in an instictive level to healthy people. Overweight is not healthy. A few pounds/kilos overweight(or underweight) is not that big a deal, but I really mean a few, over 5 kilos of extra weight(not counting muscle mass) starts to hamper you in several ways.

There are thin ugly people. But in general fat ugly people or people with low self esteem let people walk over them. I never said it wasn't a generalization but it happens more often then not. There are large people that are pretty and ugly. I recognize that. I have gorgeous friends who are overweight.

I think the point is to be healthy. A little over and a little under isn't too bad.

AND BTW for the people that reamed me for liking hot/fit people, I never said I didn't care about personality. Why can't I have both?

Besides as we've seen not everyone finds the same thing attractive.

But if you were picking up someone in a bar for whatever reason you aren't going to hit on the ugly person. No. You are going to the hot people. You can't 'see' a personality.

I didn't say anything about anorexia. That is bones, not a human. I am considered underweight and 5'9, but I have never watched what I eat. I'm just sick and tired of EVERYONE defending chubby girls and picking on thin girls. I've been picked on my whole life for being skinny despite it being the supposed "standard" of beauty. If it is supposed to be a standard can't I take credit for that at least?

And Doc: Guys like fat in the right places AKA Beyonce?! Am I right? 😃
