I have a feeling Kubo is reading the chapter comments every week...
Last week everyone was complaining that Aizen looked like a fairy and BLAM!
Tansform! Fairy no longer. (and that comment Ichigo made on being tired of "Aizen-logic")

Anyway I think Aizen looks better than last week, even though he doesn't really give the impression of a God-like being. He just looks like a hollow now. His God-like form should've been sleek and human-like and maybe with an aura around him or something. Or at least angel wings instead of fairy wings. Err, just makes more sense (human-like hollows are stronger than freaky looking ones).

Usually in shonen manga the strongest are humanoid but have incredible ki and weird looking monsters tend to be weaker. Going by that logic Aizen is still not at his final form, in my opinion. Ichigo will own Aizen next chapter and then he will evolve again. (He can't get killed so easy, especially when he is so close to getting the King's Key or whatever.)

Quote from ShadowSakura

i love the 18 years old Ichigo. He looks way cooler than his younger self and isn´t overemotinal anymore <3

Huh? He was in the hyperbolic timechamber for only 3 months...

Kubo must really love Dragonball if he's going to imitate it this much. From the looks of it though I don't Aizen is going to transform anymore. You can forget Bankai from the guy cause he abandoned that to transcend Hollow and Shinigami. And this looks similar to the Hollowfication Vaizards do. I think he's probably finished. I could be wrong but it looks like that's where it's going.

Aizen lost the battle the moment he started shouting...

The thing about Aizen's lack of Bankai is that Kubo just can't think or anything stronger than Aizen's shikai. I mean the complete control of the five senses? What can top that? Mind control? Instant win?

That's the only reason for his lack of bankai. Kubo shot himself in the foot the moment Aizen became a villain.

Since the start of the series it´s been more than a year in karakura, so plus the 3 month ichigo should be 17 or 18

I know I'm not the only one who said "WTF?!?" when Aizen transformed AGAIN lol

I think the next chapter (chapter 420) is gonna be Aizen getting sliced within the first 5 pages and then an explanation as to Ichigo's new power and how he got them for the rest of the chapter and running into the next chapter (chapter 421) where Aizen finally dies but not before setting off a chain of events that will have Ichigo running to save someone or something (like Goku when the planet was gonna explode after Freiza)

Just a theory but it could be that the new getsuga is directly linked with the disappearance of his reiatsu. COULD be that it allows him to seal and save up all his reiatsu until the moment that he releases it all in one attack.

I'm starting to think that Transcendentals are going to be the next big thing in the story arcs after this.

Every chapter Aizen reminds me more and more of an old-school RPG villan...you know the ones with like 20 forms that you have to fight.

Nothing happened. I guess the super hax Ichigo had its merit at first, but this fight is heading down the same path as many of the fights post-SS.

@xtr3m3dude: I think you're dead on about your analysis of Aizen's lack of Bankai.

Well Aizen's shikai is very overestimated, the certain requirements for it to work just nerf it to oblivion. you have to SEE him release the shikai? Ok he had that trump card over everyone in SS because he was their 'ally' but in real battle with a person he just met he wouldn't be able to do anything.

At first, I was wondering why there were so many posts already, but then I read the chapter and I understand why. 🤣

Quote from tokyo_homi

did they seriously have the nerve to write "finally brings an end to this long battle"

the battle has only been about 3 chapters last time i checked

I think they were talking about the 100+ year battle (And 4 year battle in real life) against Aizen.

That's the only reason for his lack of bankai. Kubo shot himself in the foot the moment Aizen became a villain.

That is one of the many times I wish Kubo didn't write himself into a corner the most. I talked to different people about things like this and they tried to justify it by becoming fanboys/fangirls about it and going "So? Kubo doesn't have any contract or anything that says he has to show every single shikai and bankai!" It's one of the most flimsy excuses I've ever heard, since it's those people basically saying "So what if Kubo decided to write himself in a corner and do everything half-assed?" If a writer hypes up a special technique that looks and acts unique to different characters, and then reveals that all of these characters have the ability to use that special technique, it would make you want to see how they all look and act, right?

Maybe after Aizen is defeated(if he is), they'll show us that the people "above" soul society are all transcedentals and then they'll come to test ichigo to see if he is fit to be one of them and there we have a new arc.

The sooner Aizen dies the better, this has gone on far too long. >:-(

Aizen gets weirder with each transformation. 😐
At least there's going to be an attractive face to look at in these next few chapters.
