I have one question though, how those who pick "I'm blind" read manga? 😕

I'm nearsighted AND farsighted, with an astigmatism in both eyes. There should be a category for that, because "I'm blind" makes me feel bad. 😀

I'm nearsighted, but I'm legally blind without my glasses, which means everything is a blur. I'm slated for laser eye surgery when I'm of age. I've worn glasses since elementary school so habit is why I don't wear contacts. 🙂

Quote from Sagaris
Near sighted, with glasses.
Blind without.
That's like me. And I'm not exaggerating.
I really have bad eyes and I can't live without them because everything's just blurry colors if I don't have my glasses on. They're really thick, too, even though I paid extra to get the thinnest it can possibly be. 😢

I chose 20/20, but the last time I was tested, it was 20/15.

Hmm.. I would like to say 20/20, but lately my eyesight has been going downhill. So while I can see everything perfectly, my eyes have been starting to focus slowly, so I have quite a few moments where the world/a certain object is very blurry. So I chose not perfect.

I honestly have no idea on which answer to vote for. I have 20/20 vision in a family that all have glasses/contacts. However, I have reading glasses since my eyes converge too much if I read a book or am on the computer for a long period of time. It usually takes a few hours for my eyes to start getting blurry or unfocused. Then I have to either start wearing my reading glasses or squeeze/blink my eyes a couple of times for it to get focused again.
I never really knew if this meant if I was either near sighted or far sighted. 😕

I'm the only one in my family that doesn't need glasses, so I'm voting 20/20. I wonder though... is being able to read normal sized text from 10 ft away considered better than 20/20?

i wear glasses and have done so since elementary school but the funny thing is that i have lazy eye, which in this case occurs in the left eye and my right eye was normalish, thing is that when i first started i couldnt see very near things without glasses or it would be slightly fuzzy.
but now that i am older its the other way, still got the lazy eye in the left but now its things far away that i have a hard time seein in detail, anything more than 5m or 15ft away and its starts blurrin but on the upside my left takes in less light so when its bright outside i just need to shut the right eye

Nearsighted & worn contacts since age 14 (that's more years than a lot of you have been alive ); without contacts/glasses the world gets blurry about eight inches away. I don't hate wearing glasses, but my eyes tolerate contacts better than I deal with something on my face all the time, so I don't wear my glasses much. The glasses I have now are 10+ years old & glued together...was thinking about getting new ones but rightt now they cost too much to spend on something I don't need. 🤢

Might of worn contacts sometime ago but I don't bother much.
Every new pair of glasses i get breaks plus i just don't wear them 🤣

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

20/20 or better... during the day. I'm actually nearsighted and wear contacts, but they're a special type of contacts that I wear when you go to bed every night, that correct my vision while I sleep by compressing my cornea. So I take them off when I wake up and have perfect vision during the day. It's like a kind of retainer, I suppose, so I have to wear them for around 8 hours per night otherwise my vision goes back to completely nearsighted in a couple of days.
Basically, a stopgap measure until I get laser eye surgery sometime in the next 10 years.
