I was pointed in the direction of a particular rant on Nice Guys vs. nice guys (those who think they are vs. those who actually are) and decided it was good enough not just for Link of the day, but for a link in my signature.

If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female, and I'm making my daughter read it when she's old enough to understand it.

Be warned that it is a rant directed specifically toward males who think that "women should want to be with me because I'm so nice" and behave a particular way to emphasize that. She uses foul language occasionally. The author is fully aware that women are not devoid of issues of this nature (or other issues) as well, but that wasn't the topic of this post.

I read it, there was A LOT to read, insightful to say the least.
Where I stand on it exactly? Somehow I seem to have traits of both, mostly the genuine kind. Great read and self-improvement is always a plus for anyone really, I never had to read that to want to improve ^^. Great Find I'll have to keep it.
