there wasn't anything new in this chapter but nami's money hunger is still as strong as Ever.
The last page was very interesting i think it's safe to say Big Mama will be introduced next week. i'm very curious to also know what sengoku and aikoji will do now mostly aikoji. who will replace akianu and aikoji as admirals. lots of questions raised in this chapter.
I can see why Aikoji does not want to be beneath Akianu . I also want to know what kizaru thinks about the marines now. Blackbeard being a yonku was a given, i mean it was only a matter of time.
i don't think caribou will try and take the princess again but what will he do with the info?

Very interesting chapter, especially with the revelations that Blackbeard is now one of the Yonkou, as well as Aokiji leaving the Marines (which was bound to happen at some point).
Also, I was amuse that the New Fishmen Pirates became nothing more than bitter old men (serves them right). Not so sure what Caribou will do next, though I doubt this will be the last time we'll see him.
If the last page implies anything, then Big Mam will finally be revealed by next week.

I feel the same about him too. Out of the three Aokiji was always the more, how can I put this, "good" then the other two. Kizaru was more of a neutral force, while Akainu was more oppressive. But aside from Aokiji being out of the Marines, will he targeted by Blackbeard for his power? And even though Caribou is a bit of a joke the info he has could be dangerous if the wrong person hears it.

caribou prisoner of the Straw Hats? Atleast until he gives up the treasure he stole. liked the recap of the last two years. I bet they'll make for interesting anime filler.

-Aokiji should join up as new crew member.
-Big Mam is a friend via that one ugly chick from Thriller bark who gave straw hat her "mom's vivre card"

Why am I not surprised that Akainu became fleet admiral? Aokiji probably didn't care about the position, but decided to go for it because he didn't want Akainu to be the new fleet admiral.
Blackbeard becoming a Yonkou is no surprise either. One thing I'm curious about though is how many different abilities he can get. If he has no limit to how many different abilites he can get, that's pretty crazy. No wonder he wanted the yami yami no mi so badly.

There definitely has to be some kind of catch or a limit because I don't think an evil fruit could possibly be that powerful. Besides who had the Yami fruit before Blackbeard? I think I remember someone saying that Blackbeard had to wait until the guy with the Yami fruit died until he could find a new one. Or am I just remembering things wrong?
In that case, what happens to the fruits he absorbs? Does that count as a death or as Blackbeard having that fruit for himself?

Ok. So the whole "The strawhats will destroy the island" prediction will probably be because they'll eat the candy meant for Big Mama and she'll destroy the island because of that.
Well, I think that it is pretty definite that the news of Poseidon will be leaked. I mean, I hope it isn't, but it seems inevitable that the word will get out somehow.
And now that Akainu leads the Marines... One Piece's world has always been fascinating--now, even more so!
I'm curious as to how Smoker feels about the whole "absolute power to the Marines" business

And now I'm wondering who the other weapons could be...

Thatch found the fruit first. He never ate it though. Then Blackbeard killed him, stole the fruit and ate it for himself. That's why Ace wanted revenge.
