I picked Sengoku Basara because I figured it needs more love.
I have a hard time deciding things when there's so many choices.

I did also seriously enjoy Eden of the East and Bakemonogatari, but now that new episodes aren't coming out I've found that there's really not a lot about them for me to go back and fantasize about (if that makes any sense) so they're not enough to be a favorite. My favorite series are always the ones that keep on giving me things to think about even after I finish them.

I also remember liking Sora o Miageru Shōjo a whole lot for some strange reason, even though it was technically kinda bad.

There's a few other notable series from last year for me, but I'm really slow at watching anime because I mostly read manga so I haven't finished some of them.

Also, I wasn't very fond of Maria†Holic (too many overused jokes) or Seiken no Blacksmith (too much girls talking and eating food, not enough of what the story was supposed to be about), but for some reason I watched all of them anyway. 🤢

My picks are Genji Monogatari Sennenki and Phantom - Requiem for the Phantom. Both are good adaptations from literature and game.
Valkyria Chronicles is OK.
On the other hand, I don't like those that get the most votes.

So hard to choose damn.

I chose Bakemonogatari mostly because of Senjougahara, oh god she is sooo awesome. After that would have been spice and wolf 2, then phantom:requim of the phantom. Phantom would have been awesome if it wasn't for that stupid ending. Darker than Black--the sequel was soo dissapointing, I expected much more. Just not a worthy sequel.

the most overrated is K-ON! and Hetalia

So many good ones, but I'll vote for Sora no Manimani just for Edogawa 🤣

Brotherhood. Although Ryuusei no Gemini was a close second

Phantom Requiem for the Phantom was my fav, although Higashi no Eden came in at a close second. Bake and DTB s2 were pretty good too but Phantom far surpasses them in terms of plot and enjoyment.

Definitely Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Though Eden of the East wasn't that bad, either. And Kimi ni Todoke was cute.
FMA just wins all, though. XD

I quite like Spice and Wolf cause I've grown tired of the "normal" series of romance, action, stuff like that. I enjoyed Spice and Wolf cause it has some realistic quality to it, although the romance kinda ruins it.
