Any sports manga (preferably male sport), but the romance is a big part of it as well and not some dinky little side plot you get to see every once in awhile? I'd like some sports mangas that aren't super long.

Tsubasa to Hotaru is about high school basketball and the romance is more of the focus. Games are played but it's definitely the setting more than the focus.

Saotome Girl, Hitakakusu is about female boxing, but I suppose boxing is usually more of a male sport. Here the romance and actual boxing are about 50/50.

I'm not sure if those are quite what you'd be looking for, but it's the two that come to mind for me at least.
