Something You're Stressed About Today

Quote from mogiks
I got a haircut today and I don't really think it suits me... ;_; I can't really afford to get it re-done and I don't want my hair any shorter, so I guess unless I change my mind tomorrow (it will probably look different after I've washed out all the products the hairdresser put in and negated all his long effort styling it) I guess I am going to be wearing my hair up a lot until it grows out 🙁
Also, I'm moving back to uni next weekend but I don't really want to 😔 I barely have any friends there, I'm moving somewhere new with people I don't know which means a lot of hassle and uncertainty and just the thought of all the work and money issues ahead is already stressing me out.
Wow, I have the same problem. I feel like because I go to a very cut throat university even when I am hanging out with the friends I have there's this general air of passive aggressive competitiveness that exhausts the hell out of me. People comment on each others' insecurities in small ways (don't want to be too specific). I try to not let these things make me grow cynical because I really want to use my time here to both complete my (somewhat difficult) degree to the best of my ability, make use of every opportunity, and learn to open my heart to these people. Sometimes it's hard, and I know there's many people who have problems connecting too - but hoping it gets better!

An essay that's due tomorrow. I got it 2 weeks ago, I haven't started yet and it's due in a couple of hours

I am in the middle of end of year eleven exams and have politics and law tomorrow as well as English. iIhad ancient history yesterday and I still have maths and modern history to go and modern is my worst subject out of all of them, but i am not that great at P&L either. Sigh. Also, I have work tonight, yay... urgh

ICBC, the main insurance and cause of many headaches of many British Columbians. My brother borrowed my moms car and got in a "little" accident. He just dented his license plate and bumped the other cars bumper and caused very minor scratches and not even a dent.
FAST FORWARD 4 MONTHS
My mom gets mail from ICBC for the claim for $1500. WTF?!
Something like this happening to my family let alone such a small accident shouldn't equate to a $1500 claim. Can't really dispute the claim either because they arbitrate these incidents themselves... (sounds so damn fishy)
I haven't had any sleep since yesterday and it's making me darn stressed 'cause I have school on Saturday mornings. I don't like yawning in class. Sleep has been avoiding me this week.

The SATs especially, since most of my friends can answer all the questions that I cannot.

The SAT. I haven't even started studying yet and I'm planning taking it in November. I'm pretty confident in my vocab/reading (took the PSAT last year and I got a 98% in both categories), but my math is barely above average.
Not only that, but I have a big history project due in a week on top of all the HW we normally have. We've had it for a month, but I've only done around 1/3 of it so far. D:
