there are so many strangers fighting -.-
what´s up with sasuke? it was sasuke on the huge oic with kabuto, wasn´t it? that looked creepy.
and lol sais "brother" makes his appearence, it seems that kishimoto really revivied all the dead from the entire series

If so, that's Anko, sadly. (Guess she doesn't rate more than a one-panel death scene...)
The military stuff was pretty good in this chapter. Kinda interesting to see Sai & Kankuro in action already. I didn't think those characters would get the first battle. Seems to me, shonen manga either uses throwaway characters for the first fight (to get them out of the way), or more popular ones (to make people excited). Sai isn't a throwaway character since he's on Naruto's team, but I don't think he's a favorite character with the fans...? Well, I'm looking forward to getting a bit of info on this mysterious "brother" of his.

I like the quick character development Omoi got, as well as us finally seeing Sai's brother in person (Even if he is a zombie). But too bad Anko seemingly got killed off-screen...

Personally, I think it's good that Kishimoto's introducing all new characters at this point. It wouldn't make sense if he made Kabuto only revive characters that the audience already knew about. Kishimoto has shown how big the Naruto world is (And he still hasn't shown all of it, as evidenced by introducing two hidden villages in this chapter), so it makes sense for him to have Kabuto revive ninja that were strong in their world but weren't introduced to us yet.

really... can't believe that mangaka didn't even bother to draw Anko's battle scene, hopefully the anime will have more material, but if the two tails battle was any indication probably not
really curious to see how Sasuke will react to his brother being reanimated, and if they will get any dialogue at all - kinda expecting a "I'm disappointed in you" speech, but maybe Sasuke will ignore it all together his character is increasingly unlikeable after all

Anko isnt dead, orichimaru had the opportunity to kill her in the past and didnt and since the kabuto hybrid is basically orichimaru i dont think hed kill her. also if she was dead why would he be dragging her around, its been shown he doesn't need thier bodes to bring them back as zombies.

that´s anko? now i get it. I thought it was sasuke because the hair and the snakes made me think of him. didn´t pay attention to the clouthes (>-<) i was happy to see anko again and now this -.- hope she survived or gets revived by "the good ones" this is shounen so it is possible

Well, it's possible that he killed her because he wants to use her body to resurrect someone stronger. Or that he killed her to make sure that she didn't escape with info as to where he was or what he was doing. I'm thinking that it's the former.

I don't think he is dragging her around. Kishi is just letting us know the winner of the battle between the two that started last chapter. It's the final dramatic "pose" if you will. Yea it sucks that Anko gets the raw deal, but if every battle was shown from beginning to end this arc would take F-O-R-E-V-E-R.

It's sad to see, but Anko is probably gone for good if she is dead. I think that goes for anyone that dies in this arc, since it seems to be bringing things to a close. Unless Kishi decides to pull a Dragonball ending.

I dont think is dead or will be killed because even Orochimaru had tons of chances to kill her but didnt kill even once. Why? Because he wanted her to be his woman or to do experiments with her like he did in past (cursed seal). And she was his student. So Kabuto want to possess all Orochimaru had 😛
Or thing is that Anko have popularity so one more reason to not die 😛
