i like japanese media... i think some are ingenius...
but no offense to the japanese people, but some movies are really too overdone and has alot of elements that ruins the movie....
and i listed some things i guess that might make j-movies alittle less accepted to the standard media...

i personally think, that the acting is really overdone...
like alot of cliched lines that makes the movie stale...
and im sure japan has alot of budget to make graphics more realistic, but they use simple raw materials, which maybe its just the way they do things?
but besides from those, i think j-movies are great...

Nah, I like japanese movies, specially old samurai ones and slice of life kind of movies. I wouldn't really change anything about them òÖ

I don't see a point to this poll... films aren't going to suddenly all change or conform to a certain style. And I'm sure Japan isn't the only country you can point out to have problems with their film industry...

Well, i don't watch anything other than J-Horror, and even then i barely pay attention, so i cant really say much myself 🤣

well japanese people can make good movies...
but just that they really care more about face than talent...
i mean theres plenty ugly actors even in america that really know how to convince the audience... i think thats really how to run the media, ... and besides i really believe that beauty is how you display yourself...
but dont get me wrong, i love japanese movies,... like ichi the killer, battle royale, etc....

I second that. In the recent J-dramas, they casted beautiful..popular people. And when I watch them, I dont see them as 'characters' in the drama but rather, I see them as "popular actors/actresses"..

but..atleast J-actors/actresses are better than the young taiwanese actors/actresses.. No offense, but I do think taiwanese dramas cast 'pretty' bishies..but not really talented in playing their roles.

I kinda missed old dramas like Glass mask. The drama is very well casted.
