Recap the past year

This is something I do at every end of the year; I look back at the past 365 days and compare myself then from now.
Within the past year, I've:
-Learned how to be less self-centered
-Organized my priorities, stopped procrastinating by 70%
-Became an atheist
-Learned how to form my own opinions/can take a stand and defend it
How about you? What has happened this year and how has it changed you?
Good for you! ^^ If only I could get better at that procrastinating thing.
Learned to sow, which is a giant lifesaver considering how broke I am....
My biggest accomplishment in the past year is probably learning to respectfully disagree with other people's opinions (and become less of a total pighead), but still believe in my opinions.
Plus, just getting to be a more mature person overall.

In 2010, I:
- became a better hippie
- love life and people more, making me more friendly and chill
- moved and switched schools on a short notice
- joined facebook O:
- got lots of friend outside of my age group
- learned that I won't die if I don't get straight A's
- discovered unschooling (though the effects won't come into play until 2011)
- learned to sew (quickly added this after Sonia's post reminded me xD)
Hmmmmmmmmm...
-Got into scanlations (editor).
-Started drawing/sketching properly (somewhat).
-Started liking my dad again.
-Narrowed down what I want to do with my life in the future.
-Got a pen pal. <3
That's all I can think of at the moment.

You are like the dense main character in a shoujo manga.

Haha wow... I feel ashamed. I haven't accomplished much.
-Lost 10 lbs throughout the year.
-Advanced in my digital painting skills (well, at least for me).
-Started keeping a day-to-day journal of my life, in the sad hope that one day when I die someone will read it and find it interesting.
-Re-discovered my love of dragons.
-Had a "career epiphany" (know what I want to do).
Go to work, send your kids to school;
Follow fashion, act normal;
Walk on the pavement, watch T.V.;
Save for retirement, obey the law.
Repeat after me: I am free.

Well, I would say:
-Changed shifts at work
-Started back at school
-Screwed up my relationships with practically everyone all at once
-Finally got out of Texas, if only for a little while.....
-Started back up in Martial Arts
-Finally learned how to relax and gain back a few shreds of my sanity
-Got forced into making a facebook......
Now if I can manage to finish school this next semester, I can finally get out of this place. And if I ever manage to get over my last gf, which is far harder than I thought, then I could finally start letting myself be happy. Sadly, I did really bad in school this fall, so I have to retake a class....
"This year, they should give the Nobel Peace Prize to the inventors of cancer and accidents, because research shows those are the main causes of disarmament."
Um...
I actually think I got worse as the year went on...
I got more lazy, didn't care about my A-Levels, went out drinking more often, sleepless nights, got incredibly addicted to caffeine... 😐
However, I guess the positive thing this year is taking a step towards an ambition of mine.
Looking over the year as a whole, it was a good year actually. I had lots of jokes times with my friends, especially during the summer.

- Got into all kind of troubles in high school (January - end of June)
- Started living alone (in September)
- Started reading books again (that aren't manga)
- Stopped drinking alcohol on regular basis
- Gained weight (which is a good thing in my case)
- Got more patient

Used PC.
Lapsed further into insanity.
Yeah, that too.

became an intern at an art gallery and quit 3 weeks later after living in constant fear of my boss (who I realised was schizo after hearing her talking to her self constantly the whole time I was there about no-one wanting to have sex with her) and besides that nothing happend.
Oh yea we had a really nice summer 🙂

You just reminded me that I should have added "Developed a love for PC games" (your signature, which yes, I did recognize from playing Portal XD)
