well, if you click on MyFrappr at the top then click edit profile it asks for your name and you can write your nickname on there it worked like that for me... or it might make a second point for you, like it did for me... >.>

Easy, because mellowmut's avatar on frappr is that funky mecha action figure (or whatever it really is... Is that a gundam?)
Anyway, since it's mellowmut who created the mangaupdates map... Frappr used his avatar as the one for mangaupdates.
