Hunter x Hunter went on hiatus in early 2006. In early July, fans petitioned for the return of HxH through a special service website called Letters to the Chairman. In early August, a source from 2ch leaked the news that HxH will be returning "sometime in October."

Also announced in Jump 40 is that volume 24 of Hunter x Hunter will be released on 10/4.*

It might be important to note that (as stated in the earlier leaked news from 2chan) just the chapters that Togashi has been working on will be published. After that a new break is expected so he has the time to work on new material.

The chapters he has been working on? Didn't even know he was working on anything... Anyway still better than nothing!
