Yesterday Dattebayo Fansub officially dropped due to fans messaging about late shows. This is the statement that Dattebayo realeased.

Attention Dattebayo fans,

Effective immediately, we are terminating our subtitling efforts on the "Naruto Shippuuden". This decision is not up for discussion and not negotiable. You can guess why this is happening, and no, there is nothing you can do about it as there will always be assholes who want to piss in the pot so to speak.

It was a difficult decision, but it had to be done.

It's been a fun 4 years!

Don't care... I gave up watching Nartuto ages ago, I watched all the fillers thinking "It will get better..", well guess what it still sucked even when it got to the proper story line...

Oh well. Not like they're the only fansub team, even if I did watch.

One question, how come they managed to sub more then 100 dumb fillers and stopped when the new season has started. Not that I really care, I would have been supportive also if they had stopped right after it had become clear that fillers will drag on and on and on and on and on

Well, I guess it's alright. They're not the only group scanlating Naruto. They're allowed to choose what they want to sub, and I don't think anyone should complain about it. 😎

Don't care...I gave up on Naruto a long time ago...plus people would be better off reading the manga

Like many, I gave up the show ages ago so I don't really mind. 😳

Honestly, I don't watch Naruto, but it's actually nice to see a fansub group showing a bit more spine. For whatever reason, people seem not to realize that it's a volunteer service- there is no obligation for them to do it in the first place, and it's done purely for the group's own enjoyment/sense of self worth/whatever they may get out of it.

I'm sure there are 800 other groups subbing Naruto, so I doubt it will be an issue for anyone who actually wants to watch the show, but hopefully it makes impatient leechers realize that incessant whining only hurts them in the long run.

It's true that people would be better off reading the manga, but some of my friends actually enjoy the fillers...Dunno why, but hey, it's their opinion. If Dattebayo is being serious for once about stuff like this, then I don't blame them. They seem to get too much crap for nothing much more than trolling people...which yet again I can't blame them for. 4 years fansubbing and not being able to have any fun? Would be rather lame.

Anyway it's probably just another troll, if not oh well. People can just find someone else.

well like i had already guessed everyone gave up on the show a long time ago like myself. I only continue to watch because i wanted to see some of their attacks like Naruto's

Futon - Rasen Shuriken on the screen. I just think action manga its interesting to see how the animators for the tv will adapt to its manga roots.

Well, all I can say is... well that's suck... I guess. Iunno, the show got weird. For example the manga have Naruto and the gang battling Akatsuki members after meeting Sasuke while the anime drop in some random events with the Fire Nation and some kid name Sora. It feels so off and random...

In any case, Dattebayo is pissed at people posting the show on streaming sites like Youtube and etc. I see where they're coming from, and they have the rights to continue/discontinue as they like. However, they also needa realize that sometimes... people don't really visit and read posts...
