I remembered an article I read about LINDA Project and how they were seriously cracking down on any website that was hosting their works for free downloading.

Now, is it right for them to do this? Personally, I'm in between caring and not caring. Although their doujins are good, there are some other artists that I like better (Yunioshi, Tetrodotoxin, Yumisuke Kotoyoshi, and a few others), so it wouldn't really affect me if they succeed in erasing any free downloads of their works. But I find it ironic that they don't want people to download their stuff and yet they and countless other H-Artists use popular anime/manga characters without the original creator's knowledge most of the time to make the very same doujin that they're trying to save from free downloads.

So, what's your opinion on this topic?

I believe they have the right to do what they're doing. Their doujins can drive people...sexually crazy (so to speak) and they should be making a lot of money out of it - but they're not. Now I know that there are other great doujinshi groups and they get ripped off as well, but it's their choice not to act on it :\

...besides, you can always get them if you're at the right place and at the right time 🙄 "The early bird catches the worm" as they say, and if you missed the raw, the scanslated version will be uploaded soon after and stay uploaded for about a day or two (if not hours). And if you still missed that, there's always /r/ 🤣

There is always a loophole 😉

p.s - though if you're truly a loyal fan...you should buy >_>

Sucks for people who read stuff by them,
but I don't really see why they should
stop it. Most of their works aren't even available
anywhere.

Quote from Sankaku Complex

Esteemed ero-mangaka Linda, known for his masterful and generous depictions of oppai, is set to offer fully uncensored English language doujinshi for download in standard JPG format, without DRM of any form and at a modest price.

It is hoped that this will offer international fans the opportunity to easily support a favoured artist, and obtain some quality erotic manga whilst so doing.

The first release, made in cooperation with J-List, consists of two titles, Ble-Ori and Ble-Hina, both Bleach inspired ero-doujinshi. More are promised soon.

Both are supplied in generous resolution and quality, in both JPG and the inexplicably popular CBR format, and are free of the odious censorship which blights Japanese visual culture. A French release is also due.

Each is available for an inexpensive $6

Well...I guess that's one way around piracy.
I understand how some people complain how it's hypocrite of him shutting down any illegal hosting of their doujins since he's in a way reaping off profits from others (since he does fan-doujins and not 100% original work), but..I don't know.
If it's legal...who cares about hypocricy, ne?

I say $6 is a reasonable price o_o.
I guess now I can finally get the ones I'm missing =D

I'd pay...if I had the means...(or not living with family etc. etc. 🙄 )

That's pretty smart of Linda.

But now those people that buy and scan the H-Manga for us have half of their work done for them already. 🤣
