Hi, sorry if I posted in the wrong section!

I'm new to the scanlation scene and this site but I would very much like to start proofreading manga scans. I'm new to the scene though, So I am not experienced but i'm willing to learn! I figured starting a thread would be faster than answering already existing threads so:

I am in advanced placement english classes and I have never gotten below a B as my final grade. I'm very meticulous about details so my friends like to use me as an editor/proofreader for their novels and whatnot. I find myself catching many mistakes in scanlations on sites like Mangapark and Mangafox.

My one problem? I have a mac issued by my school so I cannot use it to download and proofread but I do have a mac and a Dell laptop instead. If anybody knows of a program that is compatible with those two that will let me view the scans as well as proofread, please pm me about them if you can! thank you very much.
