dont you guys think there should be an option or something to search mangas with description too like in imdb you can find movies through plots same as here there should be an option to find through description because mangas with Japanese names are hard to remember. and sometimes we do remember description so I am saying when we just remember little description like ( a guy is allergic to cats and a cat spirit is living with him) maybe a little less advanced.

You mean something like Categories/Tags? You can enter them in the Advanced Search, too.

no I mean , that every manga has a description right so search by some part of it.

I think it's more likely to remember tags of a manga in order to find it than to recall passages of its description text, particularly as our tags are standardized for all manga on MU. Descriptions on the other hand cover a whole range of different writing styles, from short lists of contents to roundabout abstracts with citations to no description at all.

So I don't really see a general benefit in implementing a special search feature, at least nothing you won't get from a Google search query à la

"remembered description text" site:mangaupdates.com/series.html .

You actually can search through description/summary though.

In search series, there's a drop down box. Just change it from title to description.
