Are you a Hikikomori?

I once was, or more like I almost became one. XD
I didn't like going out, and I had a few 'friends', but most of the time I only talked to them in school.
Thank God, now I like going outside, and even though I don't hang out with my supposedly 'friends', I enjoy going out with my mom. At the moment I have my hands full with God, my mom and church.

Possibly, but it has more to do with lack of funds than lack of interest.
Sorry to ask, raer, but do you mean you'd like to go out and do things but you don't have the money rather than a lack of interest in those outside things, or that you'd be a hikkikomori if you had the money to support the lifestyle, but you're still interested?
I'm not, but I've thought I might enjoy it for a little bit. Until I started building up nervous energy from lack of human interaction and contact with the outside world... So really, I don't think I could manage it.

The first one is what I think she meant.

Kaerf is correct. I would like to go out and do things, but I don't really have the money to do so right now.

It is not an excuse for me, all the money I have goes toward bills. I've been looking for work since my last job closed, unfortunately not that many places are hiring, otherwise I wouldn't be here right now.
Please, do not presume to know another person's situation and make such an off-handed comment. The economy around here sucks and even those with degrees are having a hard time gaining employment.

You sound *exactly *like my brother 😲
He's an engineer, and other than work he stays home playing video games or lounging around. Does this mean he isn't the only engineer out there like that?

That's horrible. I hope you can find a good job soon.

I'm so-so. I think if not for my "illness", I'd be doing a lot of city-exploring, walking and shopping. To be honest, I hate being cooped up in my home too long, unless I'm doing something substantial.

There are times where I rejected to go out with friends to stay at home and do nothing.
But I don't think I like being lonely very much so, no.

I'd love to have enough "founds" to be a hikikomori O_o. People just backstab ya anything they can 😛 . But still... you need to have some kind of freacking sickness to fall in love with a 2d char O_o so. If i ever become one i'd be like that girl in yankie kun to megane 😛 .
