I swear I remember reading this, but it was so long ago and I have no link to it on any of my lists and can't find it anywhere... I'm starting to think that I read a story and imagined that it was in comic form...

It was ABO style where the omega characters were heavily infantilized, treated like they must be kept away from the horrors of the world, etc. Taught to be sweet, not told there was a war, etc. Alphas were being trained as fighters for a specific enemy and in later chapters this came to light as an omega facility was attacked.

The main character, an omega, was bitten young by another kid and so they are paired immediately. They are separated into their categories, the omega to the 'school' and the alpha to go train. The alpha visits periodically, sneaking in.

I think this had a sci fi aspect, they may have been on different planets for the separation. The enemy might've been aliens. I think the alpha had given the omega something, like a ribbon, and it was an important item to him. The omega was maybe being bullied by another character in his school, hinting that he was unaware of the true world?

The art I recall was different, non traditional with a cutesy style. I want to say it was not by a Japanese author, likely Chinese. I think the translations might've been weak, like it was mtl based, or done by someone without a strong grasp of English.
