Hey ppl,

we are a Scanlation group that just newly founded and we are badly in need of Translators for Japanese to English! Currently we have two JP translators, but both are no experts, so that sometimes difficulties in translations occur.

Our first project is the manga for Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.

Planned projects are other Valkyrie Profile Manga (including Doujinshi)

Scans are available.

We could also need some Proofreaders (EN) .

Hmmm I guess I would be willing to tryout being a proofreader for you guys, as I am a rather big Valkyrie Profile fan. Although I can't say im the best at english, as I am a rather bad speller >_> (and yes, english is my mother tongue language. Just so you know).

it's great that you wanna help us out. We already have two more proofreaders, but they haven't played any of the games, so it would be very useful to have someone like you in the team who is familiar with the story. And they can check everything for spelling, so no worries there 😉
We will have the translation of the first chapter done by the end of next week.

Uhh...just to be clear...double posts or more are allowed in a recruitment thread by their group to bump it (as long as you don't bump it in short time frames. >.>) or announce an update.

Hi, I am Malon, the Admin and Manager of Valkyrie Scanlations.
Our group exists for only 2 years, still we already have a solid reader- and fanship.
We are now looking for a translator to translate one of our already ongoing projects, a Valkyrie Profile 1 Anthology.

Up until now, we had our only translator work on this project as well as on the official Valkyrie Profile 2 manga. If we could find a 2nd translator, we could have each one focus on a single project, and thereby also increase our release-rate (and make our fans happy with more frequent releases ^^).

This Anthology volume all in all has 10 chapters (3 of them have already been released).

We would be very happy to welcome someone on our team who works fast, dedicated and already has basic experience in translating manga. Knowledge of the Valkyrie Profile Universe would be appreciated, but is not necessary.
