@PeachMangoTea; general plagiarism thread. though i guess there should be a rule, to not include those in DA or any site like it involving artists who only draw for the heck of it. so for now, how about; 1)they're making money out of it, 2) claims they are of their own original creation ?

what a bastard. this one looks like he didn't even bother to trace and simply just magic-wanded the silhouette of the original character and made it simpler...

Plagiarism involving manga is not unheard of. Here's a thread about Nick Simmon's (Gene Simmon's son) blatantly copying bleach. It's ridiculous what he tried to get away with. And here's an article about plagiarism in manga in general. Interesting thing about this John Schiller person is that he used a lot of different source materials (I find him copying even game art from mega man zero surprising), whereas other usually only copy one other artist.

for those who've yet to heard it; Liuzhou Lan Hai technologies Ltd.'s Windows of the Heart (China) vs. Makoto Shinkai's 5 centimetre per second (Japan). heck, they admitted to the plagiarism.

Umm... Wow, the said person was foolish enough trace illustrations from a well known source; going so far as too publish the illustrations with the notion of plagiarism in mind. This is the very height of impropriety. I can't even begin to fathem, why the said hypocrite would think they'd get away with it. The very thought sickens me, that even in this day and age, this sought of behaviour still happens. This time however, was quite favourable, that the said person was caught.
Your from the order? I've never seen you before.

I have seen your post history, you don't get to say anything I say is ridiculous
oh, this is like kayono and takashima one. Kayono plagiarised off of takashima and got scott clean since she had her mom (who's a 'famous') mangaka pulled some strings and forced takashima to stop creating manga

sigh- where was the justice in this case, I mean if kayono plagiarised calivn keivn as well (geez, because of her harlem beat ended early)

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"
