You can decide how you die if you choose to die by suicide. And even if suicide(the way you die) is controllable.. How about then, when you get run over by a car...? Did those persons decide to die like that..? How about when you die of a terminal disease..? Did those persons decide they want to die a slow, but painful death..? How about a baby who was just born, and then died right after due to a complication..? Did that baby choose to die like that..? Even worse, how about the mother dieing(sp?) from the exhaustion of carrying her baby to this world..? Did she want to die like that, right after her precious baby was born..?

You get my point..

Purpose of life: You make your own purpose of life.. 'Purpose of life' is just a creation of humans, anyway.. So, why can't everybody create their own 'purpose of life'.. It doesn't has to be like everybody else.. 'Purpose of life' isn't one thing.. It's just like the 'truth'.. There are several truths.. You alone, pick the one you believe in..

That's my view, at least..

You missed my point. Of course there are instances where you can't control how you die. But there aren't many of them. I mean If I'm starving to death or have an incurable disease, then I can die from those ailments or I can die some other way. Now that other way is what you choose. If I was dying from cancer or something then I would buy a gun and try to rob a bank and die in a blaze of glory or buy a motorcycle and try to jump across a big gap but that's just me. No way will I ever lay down and let something dictate how I live or die, even if it's a mortal wound or an incurable disease.

that's y i said earlier to go find the purpose urself 🙂

the purpose of one's life is what one sets it to be.....the goal of one's life is when one complete the previously stated purpose, typically this can be said to when one dies, then again most don't ever reach the actual goal of their life as they have not actually set an actual purpose to their life. Rather, the overwhelming purpose of people seems to be live for the goals and purpose of others. This can be seen in the hopeless peasants that support the upperclass through their apathetic day to day living till death.

I don't know... am I the only one who though "42" when I read this question?
