The whole world is corrupt, not just the music industry, so its nothing new.

Well they are pretty much doing what will make them the most money, so you cant really blame them for trying to be as productive as possible. Also executives of many big companies are often greedy, and I think that corrupt is a bit too strong of a word for how they act.
