I think it's safer to just watch from outside, myself....yeah, I'd rather not live in "interesting times"...not that anyone ever gets a choice....An advantage to entering the Skip Beat! world is that I could watch the movies and listen to the songs, but otherwise, what is there? Become Kyoko's stalker? Nah. Though it would be interesting. I just couldn't keep up.

Hmmm.....The thing is, along with the powers you get the negative attention. You'd have to learn how to use your power, and probably have to fight people, and I just don't think you'd be allowed to relax and enjoy it. And there's no guarantee that you would have that power, or that it would be what you wanted. As for those who want to get girls--or guys--fine, but can you take her home with you? Or would you be willing to stay in that world until one of you died?

Yea, I think I have to go with the popular choices of One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist. I mean, it would be super pimped if you could stretch out like rubber (yes, that is my devil fruit of choice), but it is also a plus that no matter how much you seem to get beaten up, you always manage to live (even when it's obvious you should be dead). 😀 It would also be sweet to use alchemist. The only downside to this is that you'll be living in a place that's under a constant war due to the leadership of a corrupt leader. And the final two choices would be Bleach and Naruto. Swords that transform into ultimate weapons and Shunpo, running like ninjas without looking like a moron and Kage Bushin, that's a plus.

Definitely Tenjou Tenge. Reincarnation, awesome variety powers, and none of them are too earth shattering.

Maybe somewhere like the Retro Heroverse (the universe of Outlaw Star).

Now that I think about it, lot of my favorite manga tends to be very violent and dystopian and not a very good place to live.

West Block from No.6 came to mind. The other one - the "feudal Japan" (it's variation) from Shinobi Life. Very interesting places to live, indeed. But surely not the one I'd actually want to live in. Something of the lines "To live a day-to-day life, where I could actually die at any moment so that I could cherish life a little bit more would be interesting" but there is a reason to why I don't go living in the forests, or somewhere where there is war going on. I think it might be the case for a lot of people here - imagining living an interesting life while not really wanting to change anything in the real one.
