mangadb.net set its goal, to provide all groups that offer files and information about Japan, Manga or Anime a central base / workspace.

And if you really need it we could add direct-downloads as well...

You are aware you're setting yourself up for a potential legal mess?

I understand what you're trying to do, and the idea itself is not bad... But bear in mind in many countries (or if the USA has it's say, the entire world) linking to "illegal" content is frowned upon or marks you as an accomplice to pirating... Even if you are not the one hosting it (you'll be enabling).
Not only would you, as you state in your post, be linking to the grey area of scanlations but also to the illegal raw scans.

I can also imagine not many scanlation groups would welcome someone linking to ddls directly, or mirroring them somewhere else.

... One of the main reasons MU had decided to remove ddl links from their site if I'm not mistaken.

Well i just wanted to help some small scanlation groups.

I will not list the uploads on my site - if the groups want that, they can include the ddls links in their sites.

You do know that most scan groups buy our own raws, right? Really, the only ones that DL them are the tiny n00b groups that rarely last more then 6 months. I can see what you are trying to do, but it's not needed and only encourages crappy raws to surface. =/ And there are 100 other sites that do similar things... and will throw a complete tiff if they see their raws in other location.

It looks as if you do not understand me. I will try to explain it again.
I do not want to offer RAW's, and I will not upload them.
Also, I will not upload downloads, zip's or other files...

The only thing about it is here is this: groups (whatever) can then upload their purchased RAW's to exchange them with each other (cleaners, typesetters, etc.). That is not intended for other groups, but only for those who use it.
You could see it as a mobile Workspace for the groups?
I think many group's only got a wordpress page running. You don't have ftp access there.

Similarly, with the downloads. The groups can create links and integrate them into their website - like mediafire etc...

Oh, I think I get what you are doing. You are setting up a place for scan groups to work, yes? Not a bad idea, not sure if it will work since most of us have our own places. I use my forum and skype for my group. But this may be good for new groups, I wish you luck. ^.^

Anyway, hang on to the domain name. Who knows? Maybe AniDB will want to spend some money on it one day. 🤣

I suppose you might need to clarify your first post, if you only meant that you're just offering a workspace or collaboration site for groups. Saying that you're offering a base for direct downloads can be misleading or can easily be misunderstood ^^;

More details on how the workspace you're offering would work would be nice too. The idea's so vague.
