Hi, I recently got upgraded. but as I'm going to add Nordic Manga (umbrella term for Nordlys, Ragnarok, Dragens Øye, Snøkattprinsen, Arkin, and the recently announced Oppfinneren, all the authors are inspired by manga to some degree) and Manga Europeo, Spanish manga. As these aren't among the types, I don't want to add them into a wrong one.

But it's getting late here, so I'll start working tomorrow, and even if they aren't updated yet by the time I wake up, I'll try adding as many of the authors as I can. Thank you for the upgrade.

I see you are doing it for a good reason that is to give the Norwegian graphic novels some recognition to the international audience but I don't think they would fit into the site because they are western graphic novels ,I mean I understand they are from Norway and are influenced from manga but they are not Asian related like the Chinese and South Korean webtoons and Japanese manga and they look western and are cosnidered graphic novels,The only exception are OEL mangas from tokyopop and seven seas from America because they are marketed and tagged as manga.

I may not be an administrator of this site but I suggested you should ask the administrators to remove your Norwegian graphic novel submitted details from this site and post them in some graphic novel details site, reddit or a blog.

Besides this site never includes scott pilgrim book series which is a graphic novel series influenced from manga in this site.

Keep doing your work, unless admin themselves say it's not allowed to be listed here or do something like delete all those series.

Or just dm them.

It seems I talked to one of the administrators of the site and they said that the Norwegian graphic novels in the site will stay for now and will evaluate them later

Egmont has an official instagram page called nordicmangaegmont even if there isn't much there yet is there more on the tag nordicmanga. I too think they are stretching it a bit, but that's what they are calling them (although sometimes other things, because they can't stick to one term for some reason). Odin Helgheim and Charlotte Sandmæl keeps calling them Nordic Manga, while the others are more humble. But reading them it's clear manga was a big inspiration for them all with dynamic panels and the kind of storytelling often not found in ordinary European comics i.e. focus on character development and time progression. Oppfinneren and later books of Nordlys have a more clearly manga-look than the others though. But I'm not here to judge art styles, I just add series officially referred to as manga by their creators and/or their publisher.
