Perhaps it would be a good idea to just delete all the topics that have been locked. Most of them are useless and I imagine they'd take up space.

I don't think they're ALL useless, though. For example, some of the topics in "looking for" have descriptions & then links to the manga, which can be useful.

Maybe the few that were locked because they were duplicates of original more extensive topics? That would seem fair, it gets annoying looking through the forums and look through a few topics that were duplicates.

Yeah, duplicates and ones that are locked for breaking the rules are pretty useless & could be deleted - but finding & deleting them would probably take more time than it's worth.

I agree, they do seem to make searching more difficult. I'm more than happy to offer to do it, if permitted to.

Some locked topics have easier titles for me to search when a duplicate topic is made...hence when I search for the original topic a locked topic with a simpler title has the link to the original topic.
