there's Dragon's Son Changsik, which is a really fun read! 🙂 Sadly, there's only a few chapters up and it's not actively translated...

^ Haha, nice. Those were the exact 2 i was going to recommend. Fate/Zero should be in there as well.

I think there are a few with similar themes, however I don't think Arthurian legend is very popular as the base in Japanese and Korean storylines (at least when compared to it's presence in western literature and comics, though I've seen references particularly to Excalibur). If you don't mind "Western manga" there is an Italy based author/artist SalvatoreNives who recently started working on Legend of Avalon http://www.mangamagazine.net/manga-and-comics/Legend-Of-Avalon/detail-page/628

Meg Cabot's Avalon High was published as an American manga. Avalon High: Coronation

There were tiny references to that in Rising Impact. More importantly that manga also had this omake which had much stronger references to those themes and wasn't actually about golf.

Trance Knights draws some influence from Arthurian legend.

Also you might like Tears to Tiara - Kakan no Daichi which is strongly based in legends of the British isles.

Witch Hunter

2 of King Arthur's knights are still alive in the story and Lancelot is an immortal if I remember right. Also the main female is a descendant of King Arthur.

Doesn't have much to do with the actual round table myth but it has some elements.

Vinland Saga has a realashionship with the arturian mith in a "realistic way".

I wan to to take the chance to say that anybody who is a real fan of King Arthur legend, can't help but hate the Fate saga.

Arthuria? Seriously?

that's offensive for any one with British blood.

cough It was never explained whether King Arthur was male or female

Back on topic.
Seconding Witch Hunter even though it, as mentioned above, doesn't focus to much on the legend
Also, seconding this link http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?category=Arthurian+ Legend 🤣

It's not quite the same, but in Wolfsmund... it has a bit of the Swiss version of Robin Hood, Wilhelm Tell.

Edit: Oops, I completely read this as robin hood. My bad.

Mostly of the "legend" is based on a real man who conquered Britannia, the legendary king Arturius (notice something similar?). And he was 100% male... anyway in the legend itself, the long version, he was a man too.

To make it clear, one theory is that since Arturius was from Rome by changing his name to English we get "Arthur", The legend of King Arthur is just a way to adjucate the creation of the kingdom of England to a chosen one with English blood... similar to Romulus and Remus for Rome itself.

More data: Lucius Artorius Castus

By the way, as a way to make this post a little bit less offtopic, the history of Arturius is what we read of in Vinland Saga

You cant really say he was a 100% male, what if he was a cross dresser 😮 who hid it really well, just like in Fate 😮 you just have formed a stereotype of your type of Arthur, and in no way is Vinland Sagas Askeladd a realistic story of either Lucius Artorius Castus nor the legend of him.
Legend Hustle Excalibur is a weapon used by the mc, not sure if u want the weapon or the man himself.

🤣 Not quite that is only one possible belief about the Arthur legend. I'm a college Brit Lit student with an interest in Irish and Britain legends. Most of the Britain and Celtic cultures claim Arthur in some way and many even offer up theories of who he is based off of from their own histories. I've read Arthurian legends from several cultures and even wrote a few papers comparing and contrasting (in one case the Welsh Arthur verses contemporary legend). I'm not hardcore into Arthurian legend but if what I've come across in my research is any indication, you can't say Arthur is 100% anything.
