With chapter 367 revealing details about Naruto's mom, a lot of those descriptions fit Karin perfectly. And it makes sense somewhat with Naruto taking after his mom's name instead of his dad's. Why would it be kept a secret from the villagers that the 4th Hokage was Naruto's dad unless it was because he secretly loved a ninja from another village (sounds like marriages between different ninja villages doesn't really take place and is taboo).

You also see themes of best friends getting together with their best friend's sister a lot (possible implication of Sasuke and Karin - though right now we know Sasuke is totally Itachi obsessed).

I just have this feeling that Naruto and Karin are brother and sister.

no way! for one, they said naruto's mom is a beauty and I dont think karin is that pretty, another thing is that they're about the same age.. take a few more years or less.. and by the way jiraiya talks about her , it seems like they knew the mom a long time and they're familiar with each other , so how can it be that naruto's mom can have naruto while karin is only a few years old? somehow I dont think that the mom had a secret fling while she is still with a young child, even if thats possible I dont think that the 4th wouldn't have made arrangements for karin if she is naruto's sister

some people really have weird ideas.why she's not was stated above and it'll be stupid to make the whole naruto world related somehow...

besides I asked this already in another topic but is there an official picture of Karin having red hair?I haven't seen one yet so you can't even tell...

Be careful, even though it's only speculation (and I think myself that it is unfounded speculation), but the subject involves a lot of the recent chapters. So the spoiler tag might be needed.

I think that there was a picture of Karin with red hair, but that doesn't mean that she's Naruto's mother. Has anyone seen a headband saying that she was from the water village? I'm almost 100% sure that that's a no.

I agree with libra - she's too young. Naruto and Sasuke are like brothers. Not by blood, but by bond, which was the whole thing with Sai. And if she's hitting on Sasuke, that's almost like hitting on her son.

I doubt it. It could happen, since it's a manga anything is possible, but I don't think she is related to Naruto.

What's with the long lost relative theories..

I highly doubt it since karin looks so young.

And I think it's definitely plausible for Karin to be a year or two younger than Naruto or Sasuke...or for Karin to come from the same family as Naruto's mom.

I just really think that those two are related in some way, there's a REASON that the author revealed Naruto's real mom and dad, I'm pretty he wouldn't just do it because all of us were so desperate to know. It's going to lead into something.

I thought that the author revealed Naruto's parentage to add to the heap of things that he'll become Hokage.
