The "Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary & New Work Unveiling Stage" event at Dengeki Game Festival 2018 announced on Saturday that a new television anime of author Kouhei Kadono and illustrator Kouji Ogata's Boogiepop and Others (Boogiepop wa Warawanai) light novel has been green-lit for this year. The new anime marks the 20th anniversary of the novel's debut.

Oh, now this is good news! I really liked the first anime, let's hope this one lives up to it.
