Everyone post their views on the chapter here. So that seals the discussion on wether Kizaru is a logia type or not. With the light logia type, i could easily say that he's the strongest person to appear in one piece so far. Light is gonna be hard to beat.

That's true, he can just spam his laser like attacks or fight at light speed. Blackbeard is the obvious way for him to be brought down, with a match of light vs. dark, but highly unlikely. No one among the strawhats seems a likely choice as an opponent as well. Rayleigh's nickname is "Dark King," so he's probably the only one who stands a chance in battle.

hmm...so Kizaru is light, that's quite interesting...any ideas/guesses on what his weakness may be? (cuz supposedly all logia type has a inherent weakness...)

I get how he can attack using lasers, but I don't quite get how he can deal physical impact damage as light. Also, if he kicks or punches something at light speed, wouldn't he himself get destroyed?

Light isn't all that hard to beat, in fact the chapter showed exactly how to do it...a mirror. 😲

That mirror thing just made kick myself for not thinking of it myself. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a place that light can't reach being the weakness, lol. Your theory may very well be viable. 😃

I kinda get what you mean, with light replicas and stuff. But i don't think, they're powers are limited to kizaru's powers.

I was thinking of a Blackbeard vs. Kizaru thing too~ That would be interesting.

Loved the Strawhats teamwork in beating pseudo-Kuma. Ack, another week of waiting... I want to know what would happen next! Who's Kizaru coming after? >_<

i can see what you mean about Kizaru's weakness being mirrors but i think that alone is like a bit inconvenient to use in a fight though. it's not like they're going to find a place to trap him in like Bruce Lee was in Enter the Dragon. 😛 or have a mirror on them for a fight with him that could be usable. i think there has to be some other method to take him down.

They're gonna have their hands full with Kizaru that's for sure. A light type Paramecia Kizaru would have already been super strong, but now that he's a logia type, he's just way too strong.

Well, there's gotta be a weakness anyway. Everyone else couldn't find a way to defeat Crocodile and Enel, but Luffy somehow defeated them.

hmm...mirrors...but Kizaru is able to travel as light is reflected by the mirror...don't really see how someone can use a mirror to bring him down. Maybe they can reflect kizaru's lasers or something, but the weird thing is that Kizaru, being light, can also deal physical damage with light speed kicks and punches...don't think any mirror can hold up against that. =/

Oda really knows how to make things interesting. I stopped trying to guess what will happen in One Piece quite some time ago. Because you never gonna get it right. About defeating kizaru... I'm gonna make a stupid guess here. How about someone with the power of 'tree'. You know, leaves absorb light through photosynthesis...

The display of power of the Straw hats was good, but if the pseudo Kuma is that strong, they will be in a though spot to accomplish their objectives there òÖ.
Even if logia are strong, they are still beatable.

That's kinda true, how will they be able to survive if they have to team up to beat a single pseudo kuma. lol, There's still a big room for improvement in the strawhat team individually, but their totally awesome on their teamwork.

I wanna see them add a new member from one of the captains.

kizaru seems to fight mainly with kicks, maybe his opponent will end up being sanji 😮
