Wait, what?...
"openlicensed"?
You can do it here you know.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

Huh?
You mean like this?
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?licensed=no
Or make a custom list and only add unlicensed series in there for your own "tracking".
I'm not sure what you mean by "keeping track", but if you want to know when a series does become licensed, Anime News Network does report on that.
Maybe you could clarify what you're looking for a little more.

An up to date register of related material that can be acquired whiteout reprecussion ...
"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown"
I thought you can do it here? You just look for a series you want and then look near the bottom and it says "Licensed in English" [or something like that] and then if it says it will show the one publishing it, if not, then sorry.
You can also try wikipidea..i guess :/
First and foremost, since it's in chatterbox, what material are you referring to? manga, movie, anime, books, etc?
Cause if it's manga, then as everyone else has said, MU can already do that.
