Okay, this is ridiculous. It hardly even seems real.
I've always been put off by the idea that sex crimes are worse than murder. Okay, a sex crime might traumatize a person, but it doesn't end him. Worse things can happen to you than rape.
But she didn't even rape him. She didn't even have consensual sex with him. No, she "forced him to touch her breasts". I'm not sure how a woman could overpower an adolescent boy so completely, but I am sure that doing so won't totally destroy his mind.
Honestly, what kind of idiot jury did they have on for this case? This is second-degree child abuse, right? Stuff like that usually gets around five years. I haven't even seen a normal rape case get a life sentence. Not even that many murder cases get life sentences.
And no, I don't believe this would be any less ridiculous if the genders were reversed, as some people are sure to claim.

If I remember correctly, what happens is that a person goes to jail for 25 years, then the court decides whether the person should get parole or not. And usually some people get out earlier than that if they're on "good behavior"... 🙄

I think the comment was more directed at the comments implying that she couldn't have "forced" him to touch her because obviously he, as a teenage boy, would want to touch her.
Is it on the same level as full-out rape? No. Is it still wrong? Yeah. She kissed him, made him touch her breast and asked him to have sex with her. Is it life-sentence worthy? No. I don't think it's even ten-years-minimum worthy, which is how long she has before she's eligible for parole. But it's still awful, and it's still a crime.

actually i would make alot of "fuzz" even if the genders were reverse, life sentance for drunken touching is just silly(its still kinda fucked up but not life sentance worthy)

There's no "murderer" register after all, and nowadays, being a sex offender seems to be the worst thing you could possibly be. I guess we'll be seeing the age of the killing pedophiles soon if this kind of sentences spread around.
