I was thinking about finding a certain game to play but I can't remember the name or what system it's for for the life of me. For starters the cover of the box is dim, but still colored and it has a small-ish silhouette of a running elf, I think, in the middle and beneath it there is a lever with "real" and "fake" on either side. The game starts with a kid in his room playing a poorly drawn RPG all night and his mom shuts the power right before the final boss, and then he wakes up inside the game and everything looks beautiful (this is a SUPER artistic game) and the "hero" he was playing as all night has killed lots of innocent animals and he has to appease their spirits, all the while that hero is still going around being the villain.

WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THIS GAME CALLED?

Japan only. Must have missed that on GFAQs. Now I see a translation patch is chugging along even now. That's nice.
