Forgive me if this sounds ignorant, its something I'm curious about so I thought this would be a good place to ask.

I know its stupid to think "only girls and gays read yaoi". I know thats false, because I'm straight and male and I read yaoi. What I'm curious about is how many straight guys read yaoi.

I've been reading manga for a long time and found I get a lot more enjoyment out of it if I don't limit myself based on preconceptions and stereotypes. I've been pleasantly surprised by manga that I was opposed to reading for various reasons many times.

Thinking about it logically its natural to think that a straight guy would "shy away" from reading something like yaoi because of the nature of its content. Given that its probably likely that people like myself aren't too common.

So, is there anyone else here whos straight, male, and reads yaoi?
