I'm 15 and I'll be 16 in February. Then I'll be able to drive. YES! I started reading manga at 13 and started anime, like, since I was young. My cousin was the one who introduced me to manga. She kept talking about a certain one that she was obsessed with. So, I thought I should find out what it was about. The manga was Furuba.

True. I am scared about driving, but I also want to drive so I can go to places without troubling them. I have a friend who got in a car crash. She stopped at a red light and someone crashed into her, but it wasn't her fault. She was really scared.

You must have confidence in your driving ability, and trust in your skills. Don't do like me and wait till you are 21, you'll get left behind by your friends

Im 21 and I've been watching anime since the late 80s watching transformers. That i can remember. I feel ancient on this board.

I'll try to have confidence in my driving ability when I get it. Hopefully I will. Although, I do know people who aren't 16 and can drive already. Plus, I know someone who's turning 18 and she doesn't have her license. I'll tell you how it goes with my driving.

Driving isn't that bad... I'm just learning, haven't crashed into anything except for a quick scrape on the curb... everything was okay. Once you get the hang of it, it's really okay. But it can't beat walking or biking.

Yup! But the hard part is getting the hang of it. Practically impossible for me, no matter how many times I've practised with my family's big huge van (turning the van is so different)

Practice with a smaller care if it's possible. It's easier. I've only driven a Honda element and a Toyota corolla (my dad's car and the school's driver's ed car). The corolla is easier to drive than the element.

friend of mine who is 2y younger than me, but he was in the same grade (not because I failed, but he jumped grade partially illegal, not because he was a genius or something). He has been driving car since 12y to school o_o".

but me I just learn to drive at 16, like the most in my country, not Germany, I'm here just to study, oh well no car, less money to spend, living alone, cook, laundry, cleaning, and study, quite stressful T_T, but I've been used to it 😮

I'm the only one out of my friends who can drive, and I'm a year younger than most of them... o.O

<-- Person who skipped a grade, but is not a genius. ><

I drive out of necessity though... I have a really tight schedule and I don't have the time to wait for my mom to pick me up... Stupid marching band -__-;;

I'm also in band, but if you do band you also do marching band. Uhh. I just remembered I have a competition this Saturday, but before that I have band camp. 🙁 I also hate going to the football games, but you need to go. Oh well. Call me a band geek.

Yay! another person like me! Finally, someone else who skipped but is not a genius and does marching band, etc. I'm learning to drive out of necessity, but don't have the license yet. Almost 16.5 now..
