The manga Fuuka has finally ended with chapter 195, including the author's typical near future wrap-up.

I will say that the death of the first Fuuka early on (way back in chapter 36) was necessary for how the story finally ended in the last few chapters. Given that the romance portion was so minor to what is essentially a manga about a rising rock band, I think the author could have avoided a lot of the negative reactions to the death. He could have named the manga differently or straight out avoided the connection to his earlier work Suzuka.

Completely agree with this assessment if they never connected this suzuka more people could give it a chance and give it a shot. But also I liked fuuka so much as a character and am sad she didn't get a proper story.
