I noticed for the past half a year an increase in reports of Spam attack on Manga site forum and Manga site boards. Is it possible that these spam actually is intended to destroy these Manga scan sites or am I just a normal paranoid otaku?

I think this is happening everywhere, and its mainly related to ads policy... Maybe they focus a little more on Manga/Anime because its practically a given that if youre into this you usually lurk on some forums (like this one or some scanlator's forums).
Someone should make some tool to block spam or something...

Or, the NHK is invading the occidental world already 😕

I thought that was just because of readers... I mean I've seen many scanlation groups complain about how leechers spam them asking why they dropped so and so project or why such and such manga isn't being released faster.

And since the two sites you mentioned just closed, I imagine that they must be getting much more than usual.
