Honestly, I feel like one piece will be some piece of information that changes the nature of the world. I think it's going to be connected to the lost century that's often referenced, since a connection has been made between that and Gol D. But what I actually hope is that one piece is more closely linked with the legacy of D.

This signature was recovered from Hades to serve in my rotting armies.

Maybe there isnt any treasure and one piece is kind of a morale meaning for all the adventures thay spent so far.
Or maybe one piece is the behind all the poneglyphes and the world goverment.I have high expectations for that kind of resolve.

Quite interesting! I remember Robin mentioning something about Gold D. Rogers writing something on those things that have some info about the lost history. Yeah, nothing much has been said about the legacy of D.

Well, One Piece being the treasure Gold D. Rogers left behind can tell something about the nature of the One Piece, he was a D after all, same as Luffy is. 🤣

Note to the uninformed in Japanese "one piece" is the word, yes it's one word in Japanese, they use for a dress. also Oda does like his jokes I can totally see the final treasure being a dress, or maybe the woman it's clothing.
