For as horrible as Suikoden III was... it was published as a manga... and I can't help but say to myself "What the hell? Why wasn't there a Suikoden II Manga?" The story is the strongest in the line up. It had all the best characters... And if they DID make it into a manga, I could go into the most evil person in a manga thread and say reply, "Luca Blight"

Anyone else feel my pain?

I think I read the very first volume of that, Aki Shimizu's art in that was breathtaking. Not something I'd be collecting anytime too soon, but I'd get it if it were going cheap...
Oh wait, sorry, that was Sukoiden III, hahah.

Yes, you're right! Suikoden II should be adapted into manga!

It had the best story (I've played all Suikoden series) than other series. (And I think I've seen it. Or it just the novel?) The story was not too heavy or too light. Perfect!

Hoping it will become a manga soon. (I've already played the game 5 times and never get bored with the story)

Ah, I personally liked the story in the first Suikoden the best, though II is a close second in my heart.

There are always novels for the Suikoden games, with the exception of III, which received a manga. That's where the 'official' names for the main characters come from.

I like novels even more than I like manga sometimes, so I really wish that they would translate them but I don't think it will ever happen. Like the two sidestory games for Suikoden II, the Suikogaiden games, will never be in English.

On the plus side, new Suikoden game for the DS~ Maybe we'll get a manga there?

Are you talking about how bad suikoden 3 is? Or about the fact that suikoden 2 wasn't made into a manga?...
I'm not sure whether it's in the right forum~

It's always been my biggest dream to see Suikoden 2 being made into manga. So far there's only Suiko 3 and suiko V anthology..

I was so desperate to atleast get a Suiko 2 manga-style of it that I even purchased the Suiko 2 Japanese novels JUST TO GET a sneekpeak of how suiko 2 looks like when it is made into manga-form.

>>HERE'S SOME SNEEKPEAK OF THE SUIKO 2 MANGA-nized (official) version scanned from the novels<<

(the amv and scanned images arent mine btw, but I do purchase my own novels, thanks to this amv.)
